Pictures For Vets evolved from the nonprofit project Big Shots For Kids. Through our original organization many galleries of color digital prints were placed in the following institutions during its initial years. These included Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, Veteran’s Homes in Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, West Palm Beach, Zeeland Hospital, Holland Hospice, Lory’s Place, Exodus Place, Vets Returning Home in Roseville, MI. WHICH IS WHERE THE ABOVE PICTURE WAS TAKEN, and Lighthouse For The Blind in Miami.

With the inception of Big Shots For Kids it became apparent that the children’s hospitals are not often in need of artwork. BUT our Veteran Heroes have been sorely forgotten, which moved us in a direction to fill this void. As an active photographer I have an enormous digital gallery in a wide variety of subject matter, and with the help of others will place images on as many Veteran’s walls as possible.
